“Dudo!” One of the ways that we get people we meet to tolerate us is the dice game, Perudo. If you have not played it, you really need to remedy that. It’s a crazy version of Liars Dice, involving dice, liars, and other cool stuffs. If fellow travelers do not get the chance / want to play it with us in our hostels, they are probably lucky enough to not get any sleep because of the rattling dice cups and whooping and hollering when Jonathan undoubtedly loses. Our friends from our hostel in Tilcara, Argentina – Eddy, Mike, and Laura (German, Austrian, Dutch, respectively) – played with us into the wee hours of the morning, and then again in the afternoon, almost causing us all to miss our buses. And of course, it is criminal to play without beer, as you can see in our picture here.
What have we learned? Beer is still tasty and we are still not very good liars.
